Sahil's POV

It was the day of Sagar's engagement.  Sagar had invited all his friends. They all came to Chandigarh one day earlier.

They all were happy to see me after so long. Though we were not best friends still we all were friends. We all were enjoying a lot and kept pulling Sagar's legs.

l told them how crazy and possessive Sagar was for Damini and how we switched our places many times. I even told them that Damini poured cold water on me and threw things at me. They all were laughing like idiots.

Just then Swati and Manu came to call us all for the dinner. Swati told me that I was needed downstairs.  So I  went there.

We all enjoyed the dinner and then Sagar called Damini but I snatched the phone from him and started talking to her as Sagar. While Mehul and Rahul held him tightly and shut his mouth by placing his hand on it tightly.

I put the phone on speaker.

" So... What were you doing beautiful?? Were you missing me? " I said to her.

" No... Not at all... Why would I miss you? "

" But I am missing you so much... "

" Oh please ... Don't bore me... Samar and I are watching such an interesting movie. "

" What?? Now Samar is more important than me?? Means you prefer watching a movie than talking to me...your Sagar?? " I said trying to tease Sagar and trying even harder not to laugh.

" Of course Sahil... Watching a movie is more important to me when I know that you are trying to act like Sagar to tease him. Give the phone back to Sagar and turn off the speakerphone." She said 

She was really smart.

" This is not fair..... How did you recognise that it was me not him?"

" I have my ways.... "

" No... Tell me. "

" Well Sahil,  I love him for the last 10 years... Of course, I would recognise that it was not him the way you talked just now. I could sense the moment you spoke... The emotion was different. Then the endearment you used was different...  On top of that Sagar would have gone crazy just at the mention of me watching a movie with Samar and that I preferred doing that than talking to him ......Then there was a gap for a few seconds and then you switched on the speaker. Sagar would not do that...."

" Smart... Know him well... Hnn? "

" I think so.. now give the phone to him... "

" Ok beautiful... Hats off to you. "

" Thanks,  " she said and all his friends clapped and hooted for her.

" Now leave me alone... "  Sagar said to all of us but we shook our head.

" Go away... Your wives are looking for you... "  He said but still we kept grinning.

" Ok fine stay here.. " he said and got away from there and we all laughed.

He was talking so sweetly with her and we all were listening.

" Good night...dream about me. I am missing you... Love you ...  bye." He said we all laughed.. he turned to see all of us. We were laughing like fools.

We all mimicked him it was so hilarious. " I will kill all of you... Don't you have anything else to do? " He said to us.

" No we all are absolutely free and are here just to tease you and attend your engagement. " Vikram said. Everyone else laughed.

" You know my brother is totally whipped. He slept on her couch and in the morning her parents came all of a sudden and were standing outside her door while he was snoring. I had to go and save both of them. " I told everyone.

" He was totally whipped the moment he saw her.  I still remember all those funny and stupid things he did to get her attention. Don't you remember him fighting with seniors over her... " Vikram said shaking his head.

We all were making fun of him and he was laughing too.

Manyata's POV

Sagar Ji and Damini had their engagement on the next day. But all his friends were here. We went to call them got dinner.

" Manu??? " Someone said all of a sudden and I looked towards him.

"  Vikram Bhai ?? " I said and gave a bright smile.

" What are you doing here?? " he asked and hugged me. I looked at Sagar Ji as I was not sure, what should she say.

" You know each other?? "

" Of course, she is my cousin .... Did you not realise that we share the same surname and we both belong to Jodhpur? "

" Oh yeah.. she is Swati's friend. " I  smiled and nodded. Then we went downstairs but I heard Sagar Ji saying, " Vikram I need to talk to you... I need your help but I want you to be discreet about it."

They both came downstairs after 15 minutes and it seemed that Vikram bhai's eyes kept following Sahil and me.

Next day we all got up early and got ready and reached the venue of engagement. Swati and I were very excited to meet Damini. Priya, Megha, and Sandhya had become our friends last night and they also joined us. We all went to the room she was where she was getting ready.

We knocked on the door. A girl opened the door. We all went in.

" Oh god, you are looking awesome bhabhi... " Swati said with excitement.

" Yes, Sagar Ji will lose his mind after looking at you. " Sandhya said.

" You are looking so hot.. are you trying to give a shock to poor Sagar. Thank God Vikram is here... to take care of his friend in case of some emergency. " Megha said with a wink.

" Rahul was saying that he did not even sleep a wink and was counting every minute till now. " Priya said with a smile. Everyone laughed.

" You are beautiful Damini... Sagar Ji is already crazy about you. You both are very lucky. " I said

She was blushing with the comments. Just then Samar Ji knocked on the already opened door.

" Hey, girls...someone is going crazy to have a glimpse of his fiance... Have mercy on him.. come Damini.. your Sagar may come here otherwise. " 

She got up, he smiled at her and said, " Come let me take you to him.. after all, you are officially my sister now. " He winked at her and she smiled at him.

" Hey bhabhi, I wanted to take you there. " Swati said.

" We both can take her there. " Samar Ji smiled at her and she nodded.

We all went where Sagar Ji was waiting for her.

She looked at him and smiled shyly. He placed his hand on his chest. His friends teased him a lot " Need help?? Are you alright? "

" She looks better than she used to look at that time. " Sahil said and Sagar Ji hit him with an elbow.

" She is your bhabhi... " He said to him.

" I know that even before you realised that... So don't worry.. she is my bhabhi since that day.. " he said and all of them laughed. I smiled at that.

Everyone was hooting and clapping for them... Sagar Ji extended his hand towards her but Sahil caught her hand and said, " This is your last chance... You can still choose me over him " Sahil winked at her.

This man is crazy... Proposing his sister-in-law in front of his brother and everyone else on the day of their engagement.

" Samar.. can you bring a pot full of ice-cold water or piping hot coffee? I think he wants a repeat telecast of a certain action of mine. " She said smiling at Sahil. He looked petrified.

" Sure... what you prefer Sahil? " Samar Ji asked Sahil with a smile.

" No thanks... Bhabhi.. " he said and she smiled.

He placed her hand in Sagar Ji's hand.

Idiot...

Everyone was standing around them for the ceremony. Swati came with the rings. They exchanged the rings.

Everyone congratulated and hugged them. Their parents and relatives gave them blessings.

Sahil's POV

I got ready and came out. I was with boys when I saw Manu coming with Swati.

Oh god!!!  she looked so pretty and h..hot in that pista green coloured lehenga.

I could not take my eyes off her. Her long black hair was framing her face beautifully. Her dress was very elegant. She looked like a princess... Ice princess.

As usual, all the girls looked and smiled at me except her.

Ufff !! What would it take, to break that ice??

We reached the venue and all the girls went to meet Damini. After some time they all came back along with Damini.

Sagar was lost in his love's eyes. We all teased him a lot. Finally, they exchanged rings and got engaged.

I went to entertain our guests and friends. Samar's friends were here who had become my friends too over the period of time.

Samar and I went to Sagar and Damini with our friends. They all wanted to meet and congratulate them. I asked them if they needed anything. Damini said she wanted to drink something. I nodded and went away.

I asked the manager to send snacks and juices to them. A waiter went away with two juices and something to eat for them. When we came back, we saw that Manu and Swati also came with more food.

" Oh, there is already food here... We thought that you both might be hungry... So we brought some for you. " Swati said.

' How sweet Swati.. thanks... I am very hungry. Can I have a bite of that? " Damini said very sweetly. Swati fed her and then Sagar. We also fed them.

Samar and I also joined them and we all had our private party... We all were feeding would-be bride and groom.

" Hey... I can eat on my own... "  Sagar said

" No, it's your engagement... You can't eat on your own. We will feed you. Swati let's attack him with food. " I said Damini and Samar burst out laughing while Manu was also smiling.

" Manu you look even more pretty whenever you smile... There is no tax on smiling.. you should smile more often. " Samar said and she nodded with a smile.

What the hell ?? Why did he say that? What is his problem?? Idiot...

" Hey, manu... Try this, this is awesome. " Swati offered her chat to her and Manu tried it too. She nodded smiling.

" I want to try it too. Sahil you also try. " Samar tried and said to me. I tasted it, it was good.

" Guys... We have had enough food... Why don't you go and eat food.. and leave us alone... " Sagar said glaring at us.

" Oh.. leave you alone?? ... No way.. we can't do that... after all, you are my beloved brother... Woh Bhi twin.... " I teased him.

" let's go and get more food.. we can't leave them alone... " Samar said and went away with Swati and Manu.

They all were smiling.

" Leave us alone Sahil... "

" Say that nicely and use the magic words. "

"  Sahil... My sweet brother can you leave us alone please... "

" Ok ...fine.. " I just turned  but my hand bumped into his glass and the juice got spilt on Damini's dupatta (The heavy designer stole that came with lehanga )

" Oh sorry..." l said

" No... It's ok... I will go and clean it. " She said and started going towards her room.

"  You are such an idiot.." Sagar said to me.

" I am not an idiot, you are... I have just given you a chance to be alone. Everyone is here.. you can have 10 minutes to spend alone with her before someone realise that you both are not here. "

" I take my words back... You are the smartest person.. " he gave me a quick hug.

" Go away. I will keep all them away. " I said and he hugged me and went in the same direction she went.

I went after them and stayed near the door.

Just then I saw Manu looking for them. She had that chat in her hand.

She was looking more tempting than that chat.

" Umm where is Damini and Sagar Ji?" she asked me.

" Wow, another Chat !! For me? Thanks a lot... That is so sweet of you. " I said and took the plate from her hand. She was about to say something when I put a spoonful of it in her mouth.

She swallowed it but her eyes had become a  bit bigger. But she looked so cute. I ate another spoon and said,

" Wow, this chaat is much better than the last one. Very hot... Just the way I like it. " I said and winked at her.

" It was not for you... Anyways... Where are they? " She asked looking around.

" Where are Swati and Samar? Have they started preparing the food? " I asked another question and kept eating the chaat.

The moment she opened to say something, I again put the spoon full of it in her mouth. This time she glared at me with her big black orbs and pointed her finger towards me.  As if she was daring me to repeat the process.

I shrugged my shoulders and ate the chaat.

" Oh my god !! " I made a very shocked face.

" What happened ?? " she asked.

" This chaat has become hotter and spicier. Amazing, I am loving it. "   I said and winked at her.

" You... You... Ughhh. Will you please tell me where are they?" she asked coming very close to me and she didn't even realise that.

Her fragrance was making me go crazy. I controlled my urge to pull her in my arms.

" Damini has gone to her room as something got spilt on her dress. Sagar has gone to the washroom. "

" Oh !! I must go and help her. " She turned to go but I caught her hand.

Her hands were so soft and plump. I don't know how did she slap me so hard with such soft hands.

" What?? Leave my hand. " She was glaring at me again.

" I just wanted to stop you. Sagar has gone to help her. Sagar wanted to spend some time alone with her.  Let them be alone for some time. Please... " I said coming very close to her.

" Ok fine, leave my hand. " She said and left her hand reluctantly.

Just then, we saw Sagar coming back. Oh, God !!  The smudges of her lipstick on his lips and his hair were telling all the tales.

He smiled at me and saw Manu with me. He was about to enter the hall.

" Sagar Ji... You go. I will help her." Manu said to him shyly. Her cheeks had become pink.

So beautiful.....

" Hmm, thanks. " He said and she went to her room.

Sagar started going towards the party when I caught his hand.

" Look at yourself, before going out you idiot," I said and pulled him in a washroom.

" Oh shit !! "

He closed his eyes and blushed. I was laughing at him.

" Seriously Tu Damini se bhi zyada blush karta hai..... ( You blush more than Damini.. ) " I  said mocking him.

He made himself presentable and we went towards the party...

Our mom was already looking for us,  so he said that he had gone to the washroom. She asked about Damini and I said that something got spilt on her so has gone to clean it or her dress will be ruined.

" Oh ok. I will send Swati to help her."

" Mom, Manu has gone to help her. " I said and she nodded.  She caressed my face and asked, " Tune kuchchh khaya ua Nahin? ( Did you eat anything? ) "

" Yes, mom Swati and Sahil forced me to eat. " He said and mom nodded and looked at me and asked the same question. I hugged mom and nodded.

" I am very happy today, now I want one more daughter-in-law. " Mom said looking at me.

" One is enough mom... I don't want any wife. " I  said.

" I don't want to argue today... we will talk about it later. Let me see if your dad had food or not? " She said and went away. I was annoyed.

" What is the matter Sahil? "

" I don't want any wife... I am not marrying type. I can't be stuck to someone just because my mom wants another daughter-in-law.. "

" Relax Sahil....Marriage is not a bad thing ... "

" Agreed... but I don't want marriage... "  I said and went away

Damini came back with Manu and she was not looking into my eyes but was blushing very hard.

The people started leaving and only our families and close friends were left, and then my family and friends came back to our bungalow.
