Chapter 6

Sahil's POV

I was trying to get some sleep but again I was feeling very restless. What was wrong with me?

When I was with Mitali and she was trying to be over-friendly with me, I felt a bit restless. Till date, I had never been like that. I enjoyed the company of girls and women. I loved it when they flirted in return.

I always made it absolutely clear to all of them, that there would not be any strings attached. It was not serious. Every single girl knew that we were just spending time together and having fun.

I told them clearly that they can enjoy till it lasts, but I don't and won't fall in love. So not to expect anything from me.

Still, girls always loved to be with me and I enjoyed their flirting. All most every girl had fallen for my good looks, well-built body and charm. But I had never taken advantage of any girl.

I kept thinking about the events of the last few days. I was a bit surprised to see that this girl Manu never even gave me a second look.

Was she real??? Was I losing my charm??

But actually, it was good that she was not interested in me, even I was not at all interested in her. She was Swati's friend so it would be very awkward if we are in some kind of situation. As it is she is too plain for me.

I closed my eyes and her face came into mind.

I opened my eyes again. Maybe I was slightly drunk that's why I was imagining her face. I closed my eyes again and still I saw her face only.

I started surfing my phone and after some time, slipped into slumber.

Manyata's POV

I could feel Satan's eyes following me the next morning while breakfast. But I did not look at him.

" Bhai you came so late last night, I learnt to make an awesome kheer, I am sure you are going to love it. Wait, I will get it for you. " Swati said to Sahil and he looked at me.

She gave a small bowl full of kheer to him and he ate it.

" Wow!!! It is so good... Where did you learn it from? "

" Manu taught me... "

" Well, it is really good, very tasty... I loved it," he said to her and then looked at me for a few seconds and smiled lovingly at Swati.

" What is very tasty?? I also want that." Samar said entering the room.

" Here comes Mr foodie. " Sagar Ji and Sahil laughed at him.

Swati got kheer for him as well. He also loved it.

" My god!!  it is out of this world. Who made it? "

" I learnt it from Manu so we made it," Swati said. I somehow felt that Samar Ji was really happy to hear that. He tried to hide a cute smile that came on his face.

" Wow!! So you can make it now? "

" Yes," she replied.

" Will you teach me too? " He said to her. She giggled

" Why do you want to learn? You can eat here... "

" So that I can have it whenever I want," he said very sweetly. She nodded at that and he grinned. Both the brothers laughed at him. But I found Samar Ji very cute.

Uncle came to have his breakfast as he was a bit jet-lagged. Everyone greeted him and he smiled. Within two minutes Satan excused himself and got up to out.

" Sahil, I need to talk to you," Uncle said.

" Ji, but I have a meeting in 20 minutes. So I need to go, will talk later. Bye, see you. " He said and went out. Uncle shook his head and looked at Sagar Ji and it seemed that he pleaded with his eyes. Uncle started eating his food.

" If you still have that kheer, can I have another helping, please? " He smiled at Swati and she nodded and got more for him.

Samar Ji was looking at her with admiration.

Sagar Ji and Samar Ji left after having Breakfast.

I went to my room to check my emails and messages. Some of them were work-related while some were from friends. I had talked to my parents in the early morning and asked about my father. He said he was feeling better.

They asked me how was I feeling living with Malhotras' and I said it was very good and it was true. Before they could ask me about Sahil, I feigned that aunty was calling me and I I disconnected the phone and took a deep breath.

Sahil's POV

I was free for the evening but didn't want to go home under my dad's scrutiny.

Raima had called me in the day time today, so I decided to call her back.

" Hello, Sahil... " She said in her usual seductive tone. I smiled at that.

" Hi, Raima... "

" So you are back here? "

" Hmmm yeah. "

" So can we meet tonight? "

" Yeah sure. " I said. My mind was uneasy and confused about various things, maybe she would be able to distract me. I needed that a lot.

" What time will you pick me up handsome? " she purred.

" Around 8... "

" Great! I will be waiting. " She said and I disconnected the phone after saying ok.

*****

I went to her place to pick up her. She looked sizzling hot in her red coloured dress which ended a few inches above her knees.

Well, I was sure, she would be a very good distraction... I smiled at her, she looked and she asked, " Would you like to come in Sahil? "

" No, I think we must get going." I said flashing my smile at her. We went to a club where we usually go.  It was a very good place to dine, wine and dance with live music.

We ordered our drinks and after having them, she dragged me to the dance floor. We started dancing really close. I wanted that distraction from everything. She put her arms around my neck and I pulled her closer. Though something started bothering me I pushed the thought aside and nuzzled at her neck and she giggled. I asked her if she would like to go home now and she smirked at me and I nodded.

Just then a familiar face flashed before my eye. Oh, God! Not again...

I must be going insane. I closed my eyes and opened again. Still the same face.

I tried closing my eyes once more and shook my head to get it clear of that image.

I opened my eyes again and oh shit!!!

I am losing it. Did I really just saw Miss ice princess.  there with me ???

Me?? I am here. I had two drinks but.. am I already that drunk??

Just then I saw that I turned and Damini came and hugged me. Me??

Oh !! How stupid of me... that is Sagar... Sagar????? Here ??  I must not drink... It makes me think and see stupid things.

I shook my head again but they were here. Right in front of me. I could not trust my eyes.  But it is not my fault, Sagar in a nightclub?? He never did that till now. Not even when I tried to drag him to night clubs in the past years when he lived like a zombie...

Am I going mad??

I saw them along with Samar and Swati. What the hell ?? Why were they all here? I was sure this idiot  Samar must have brought them here.

Why did they have to come here? I wanted to distract my self.

" Shall we leave Sahil? Raima asked touching my chest in a sensuous manner.

" Wait can't go, my family is here. "

" Your family?? "

" Hmmm "

Just then ice princess happened to look in my direction. Our eyes met for a fraction of minute and then she smiled at something Samar said. They all were smiling.

Some friends of Samar saw them and they went to meet him. Samar introduced them.

Ice princess was looking very different today. Tall, elegant and sultry Indian beauty. She was wearing a pastel pink coloured dress.

One of Samar's friend asked her for dance and she refused politely.

I knew that...She won't dance...

That man smiled and asked Swati and she got up. Sagar also joined with Damini and now as only Samar and Manu were left. Samar caught her hand and pulled her on the dance floor. They all came towards us.

Idiot.... who pulls someone to dance floor. Why did he have to force her if she didn't want to dance?

Sahil's POV

Samar saw me and said, " Oh, it's so good we all are here. "

I introduced everyone to each other. Of course, Samar and Raima knew each other. After that Sagar and Damini went dancing.

" How??? I mean, how, all of you are here all of a sudden? " I asked Samar.

" I don't know Sagar made the program. He asked me to bring Damini here. He said he wanted to party... And this was the best place to dine, wine and dance. " Samar said he was still holding Manu's hand.

He pulled her again and they started dancing. I was surprised to see that she was dancing very well. They both were smiling but I was kind of uncomfortable now.

That friend of Samar was dancing nearby with Swati. After some time he asked if he could dance with Manu and Samar nodded. Samar and Swati were dancing now while Manu was dancing with that stranger. He said something to her and she smiled. She was looking very pretty.

" Shall we go now? " Raima asked again. But I couldn't go, leaving them here.

" No my sister is here... I can't leave her here. " I said looking at them.

" What ??? But your twin and your best friend are here with her."

" My twin, he has his fiance with him and they usually get lost in each other. And my friend is a bit gone case. Can't leave her here. Sorry... "

" I understand... We can go later. " she smiled and ran her hand on my chest.

" Thanks." I withdrew her hand.

Everyone was dancing Sagar and Damini were oblivious of the world around them. That friend of Samar came very close to Manu and said something to her and she threw her head back and laughed.

She can laugh?? She looked beautiful.

Raima came extremely close to me and encircled her arms around my neck and placed her head on my chest. There was no gap between us now. Usually, that was a clue for me to get out of the club with the girl to some nice place where we could be alone.

But today, I stepped back a bit to put some distance between us. I looked at everyone else. Sagar and Damini were at the corner engrossed in themselves.

Samar and Swati were talking and smiling while dancing.

Manu and Samar's friend were dancing just behind my back. The guy was smiling like anything. It seemed that he was flirting with her. She smiled politely. One of his hand was resting on her waist.

Why the hell she didn't say anything to that man?

I was about to go towards them to ask her for a dance when I saw Sagar and Damini coming back. Sagar excused himself and asked something from Manu. That man removed his hand from her waist.

I think Sagar asked to dance with her and Manu looked at Damini with a raised eyebrow. Damini nodded with a smile.

Sagar took her to dance and I excused myself from Raima and went towards Damini.

She smiled the moment she saw me. " Sorry, Sahil we didn't know that you would be here on a date or we would not have come here. "

" No, it's ok.. "

" Why are you not dancing ?? "

" Oh, I am just very tired with mom's endless shopping. I mean, I enjoy shopping. But now it is getting on my nerves. "

" Ha ha ha. But you got to dance with me for at least once. Come beautiful let's just rock the dance floor. " I said and dragged her with me.

" Sahil... I am really tired. " She said

" I am not listening... " I said with a wink.

We started dancing closer to Sagar and Manu. The moment Sagar saw me dancing with damini, he asked Damini, "Hey, you said, you were tired love.. "

" I am, but Sahil dragged me here to dance. " she said to him and Sagar looked at me?

" What ?? I wanted to dance... " I said.

" Go and dance with that girl, you came on a date with. " Sagar said.

" She found some friends here. She is with them. I need to dance with someone. "

" Ok, dance with Manu... " Sagar said to us and gave her hand in mine and went off taking Damini with his arm around her waist.

I knew that he was going to do that. Over possessive idiot brother of mine. I smiled at him.

" So, can I have a dance with you, ma'am? " I said and flashed my best smile at her.

" No, I think you should go back to your date. She might be looking for you. " She said looking at people

" It is ok, she can wait. It won't hurt you to dance with me."

" No thanks... "

" Why? "

" I don't want to spoil anyone's date. Enjoy yourself, Mr Sahil Malhotra," she said and went away.

I kept standing there looking at her. She joined everyone. They all were enjoying. Sagar and Damini looked so good together and were madly in love with each other.

I was still looking at them when Raima came near me and asked if I wanted to be here or go out with her.

I was about to answer when Sagar looked our way and asked me and my friend to join them.

I was about to say no to Sagar when Raima accepted the invitation. " Sure why not, I would love to meet your family. I wanted to do that for long honey. " She said smiling at Sagar as if she was my girlfriend and I invited her to meet my parents.

She was irritating me now.

But as she had already accepted, I had no choice but to join everyone on their table.

She was sitting very close to me. The whole thing was getting more and more awkward.

She was trying to show that we were together by talking about us continuously. It was irritating me like anything. She even said that we were planning to go to her place before we came.

Sagar gave me a strange look.

It was such a stupid thing to say in front of the girls. I mean she knew that one of them was my sister and one was my sister-in-law. I could see the colour of their faces changing.

I had never been more embarrassed in my life. No one would like to discuss their sexual activities in front of his younger sister and sister-in-law. I couldn't even look at them.

What would they think about me?? And Manu?? She already avoided me as if I had the plague.

Sagar looked very uncomfortable too. He looked at all the other girls sitting there and he looked tense. He had to be, he had never even kissed any girl till he found his Damini back.

Samar showed some presence of mind and changed the subject to food. He started talking about food.

I know that he started talking about food all of a sudden to distract everyone.

The women on the table felt relieved at that and started talking about it. I felt a bit relieved too.

I saw that Samar, Swati and Manu were busy in their conversation, I felt bad that I was not a part of that conversation. They seemed to enjoy talking about food.

Well not one of my favourite topic to discuss with girls, but today, even that seemed to be interesting as they were enjoying like hell.

Damini and Sagar were not talking, they just kept toying with the food. I felt bad that my date, spoilt their romantic date.

I couldn't eat anything, Raima was still trying to prove that we are very close. Sagar nodded politely and kept looking at me.

The main course was over and Sagar asked everyone about the desserts. Samar and Swati nodded. Before Raima could say anything, I refused.

" Not for us, we are leaving... " I said.

" Hey, why?? I would love to have it. I am enjoying the company of your family. I met them for the first time but it seems that I know all of them. "

" No, I am not hungry... "

" Oh please honey... let's have...."

" Listen, I am having a severe headache and I need to go home and sleep. Let me drop you home. "

" Awww... You should have told me that you wanted to be alone with me darling. Let's go. Bye, everyone, I loved meeting you all. Hope to meet you all very soon again. " She said.

Now that was it...

Sagar gave a faint fake smile to her and nodded. Damini did not even bother to look at her.

Swati and Manu gave a faint smile to her. She smiled at Samar too and he returned it but that smile didn't reach his eyes.

I caught her hand and we left.
