Maurvi's POV

" Dr. Aditi, if you don't mind, would you please leave his hand. As you must have heard that he is my boyfriend and I am not feeling very good to see you holding his hand. " I smiled at her but looked at her in a way as if I was daring her to keep touching his hand.

She released his hand as if it was a red hot object.

" Oh thanks, I am glad you did that. You would not have liked to mess with me. In future also just stay away." I smiled wickedly. She excused herself and moved hurriedly.

I waited for barely 5 seconds and literally ran away towards washroom. He came running after me. He called my name and I stopped there with my back facing him. I was literally shaking. He caught my hand and turned me abruptly. I turned and burst out laughing.

I was laughing like a lunatic and he was looking at me in a very different way. I tried to control my laughter but I kept laughing. I found it really funny I could not stop. I placed my forehead on his arm to take deep breath.

" Sorry I ran away from there but I could not hold my laughter anymore. It was hilarious. You should have seen your face. You looked absolutely shocked. I literally scared her as well. Did you see her face? " I said and kept laughing. He was smiling like anything.

" You scared me as well. But now please stop laughing and come inside with me. "

" Wait, I can't control my laughter. My famous laughter fit has hit me. "

" What is your famous laughter fit? "

" I won't be able to stop laughing even if you slap me. But.... you should have seen your face, white as a sheet. " I

Burst out laughing again.

" You see I am a doctor and I think I know how to cure it. " All of a sudden he took me in his arms and placed his lips on my cheek.

Oh !! My heart stopped at that moment. It was my turn to be shocked now.

" See you stopped laughing, this is called shock treatment. Well sweetheart you shocked me and shocked you. Now come to the party." He held my hand and took me back to the party.

When we reached there, he whispered, " This time I am holding the right hand. Right? Now I will not leave it. But you were amazing with Aditi. She would never bother me now. "

" So you agree that I was your Miss knight in the shining armour and you were Mr. Damsel in distress? " I wiggled my eyes.

" Hmmm atleast tonight you were. " He smiled and I grinned.

" And do you agree that I have the perfect cure of your famous laughter fit? It stopped in a sec though you said it won't stop even if someone slaps you." He was smirking at me.

" Well I was shocked. "

" I really loved treating you. Please feel free when ever this very cute fit of yours hit you. I would love to treat you. " He winked at me and as usual my cheeks started gaining pink tone.

" You know what? Right now, you are looking like a tomato. The most beautiful tomato, I have ever seen. " he was grinning like a child.

" I think you must order food now. "

" As you say, my tomato... " I glared at him.

He ordered the food.

I said to Sandhya, " Please come and sit with me.... It has been so long. I am so happy to see you today. " Sandhya sat next to me and directly in front of Vikram. I winked at him and he tried to hid his smile. He kept looking at her for all the time.

Gautam's POV

The waiter came with a huge chocolate truffle cake. I cut the cake and everyone wished me. I cut the first piece and offered it to Vikram. He took a piece out of it and put it in my mouth and wiped the Chocolate which was on his hand on my face.

Then I offered the cake to Maurvi. She also fed me a small piece. The cake was cut and distributed. I had chocolate on both my cheeks. I was about to wipe it off with a tissue when Vikram teased me.

" Gautam, you have a girlfriend now so this honour goes to her. Pls let her clean it off your face." I smiled and gave the tissue to her.

" Oh god Gautam you are so stupid, and I used to think that you are very smart. I am giving you such a good chance and you are going to wipe it with that damn tissue. "

" What are you saying? Oh oh.."

" Come on Maurvi, clean his face afterall it is his first birthday as your boyfriend. You need to kiss him so just lick it off. " Vikram said

" What??? No have you gone crazy ? " She blushed furiously.

" Come on Maurvi it is not too much, you can kiss him... He is your boyfriend. " Vikram was teasing her.

" No I can't... "

" Why??? Tell me." He was adamant.

" B-because... I... I.d-don't l-like this f-flavour. " I know she was embarrassed and said what came into her mind.

" What?? That was funny. Gautam you should have asked her which flavour she likes the most. " He scolded me and I was laughing. She is so cute.

" Next time I will get her favourite cake. " I winked at her.

Here she turns into a tomato again.

Maurvi's POV

The meal was over and cake was cut. Everyone started dispersing. Gautam had gone to settle the payment. Sandhya and I were busy in talking with each other, when all of a sudden a man came towards us and asked Sandhya, " Hi Sandhya?? What are you doing here at this hour ?? Whom did you come with ? Let me take you home. " He caught hold of her hand and started walking towards the door. What the hell? Who was he now???

" What are you... Leave my hand. I am not going anywhere with you. "

Sandhya said to him quite loudly.

" Why can't you come with me? Come on, don't create a scene just come.."

" Just leave her hand. Or I will break yours. " Vikram caught her other hand and shouted at him. And in no time this turned into a fight. That man was misbehaving with Sandhya. Vikram punched him and then he threw a punch at Vikram but he caught his hand. Gautam was also here now he came towards us and stood by him. That man seemed to be some friend of Sandhya's brother. He threatened to call her brother as she was with us.

" Don't worry about me Sumeet. I suggest you leave before he comes if you really value your friendship with him because if I tell him about how you behave, he is going to kill you. "

" I am going. But you will repen that you behaved like this... " He glared at her and Vikram looked as if he wanted to break his jaw. He clenched his fist. But Gautam placed his hand on his shoulder and shook his head. They both glared at him. He just turned and went out.

I turned and looked at Sandhya. She was very upset. I was trying to calm her. Vikram asked, " Are you alright?" She just nodded. I gave her a glass of water to drink.

" Why was he behaving like that? " I asked her.

" He always behaves like that. A few weeks ago I was in a market and one of my old family friend saw me there . He came and said hello to me, we were just talking casually. I was asking him about his parents and all of a sudden he came out of nowhere and started behaving abnormally."

" As in... Like what? " I couldn't stop myself from asking.

" That I should not have talked to that man.. it is not good for me and he doesn't like it.... and once he even proposed to me but I refused." She said.

" Why didn't you tell your brother? " I asked.

" They are very old friends. I thought... "

" You must tell him... Call him now..." Vikram said.

She did call him. Shubh ( her brother) came in less than 10 mins...

He looked at her and was worried as hell as she was still looking very upset. He asked if she was alright and she just nodded but a tear slid from her eyes. He got even more worried and took her in his arms.

" What happened Sandy?? Why are you upset? Why are you crying? Please say something... " But she was still quite. He looked at us..

Vikram told him everything. He was so angry that he clenched his fist and it looked that he was going to beat him. Vikram told him to calm down as he already punched him.

He took her home and we also came home.

Gautam's POV

I was thinking about her most of the times. She looked amazing on my birthday. She made it so interesting.

Her mid night surprise was awesome and the next day in the morning she made special brunch for me. Then she came for my birthday party. I swear I could not move my eyes away from her.

Her acting skills bowled be out. She was so good that I was shocked. Then her being hit by her cute laughter fit and me kissing her cheeks.

I loved Vikram as he teased her a lot about wiping the cake off my face. She turned in to a cute tomato again. She is really sweet.

I loved having her around me. But what if she likes someone else? What if she thinks I am too old for her? What if our parents have a problem?

I saw Vikram and Sandhya and started walking towards them, but he was quite upset..

I wanted to have Lunch so I asked him to come but he refused as he was irritated with something, so I asked Sandhya.

I told Sandhya to bring her lunch box because I wanted to have lunch

" So you are having lunch with me and Sandhya or you want to keep on sulking? What is your problem? Why are you behaving like that? " I asked him.

" That Punit was trying to be very friendly with her. I even stopped her from helping him but she has to oblige everyone. She doesn't ever listen to me. She doesn't even know, that the sister for which she is supposed to make the diet chart, does not even exist. I am getting annoyed and why do you want to have lunch with her? Go and have lunch with your girlfriend Maurvi. She is so sweet... " He said and I was smiling.

" So you want to say, that Sandhya is not sweet? " I teased him.

" Ughh, I am just saying that go and have lunch with your girlfriend. "

" But I want to have lunch with your girlfriend... " I said and then burst out laughing as I knew that he liked the way I called Sandhya as his girlfriend, he tried to hide his smile but I saw it.

" You stupid I was having lunch with both of you because she won't have lunch with you alone but she won't be able to say no to me. That's why I invited her for lunch. Now stop sulking and come with me, idiot. "

He smiled at me and I just shook my head.

Sandhya brought hot food to our table. " So did you make all this Sandhya? "

She hesitated for a minute and nodded.

I ate every thing it was awesome so I said, " Can I kiss your hand please? "

Before she could say anything Vikram said NO too quickly and kicked me under the table. But I kept looking at her with a smile on my face.

" Well, go and kiss Maurvi's hand.. "

He said shooting glared at me but I was being thick skinned as I love teasing him.

" Yes, she is an extremely good cook."

" So do you cook everyday? " I asked.

" Yes, more or less but today I had to, as my aunt and uncle have gone to Jodhpur to my parents place. " She said and Vikram smiled at that.

" Hey can I have more of these? " I asked her.

" Ofcourse sir, by all means... Take as much as you want. I made for every one." She said.

" Gautam..."

" What sir?? "

" My name is Gautam. Please call me that. Sir is fine for this irritating sulking man. Call him sir if you want but not me. Understood? "

" Ok. "

" Sandhya, I need to tell you something. Stay away from Puneet. He was just flirting with you. He doesn't even have a sister. "

" What ?? Seriously?? That is so irritating. I would have wasted at least half an hour in making that diet chart. " She looked angry.

" Hmmm that is why Vikram was telling him to leave you alone. " I said and she nodded.

" Well thanks Sandhya. The food was awesome, loved it so much. Isn't it Vikram? I thanked her and went to my cabin. I had a few appointments today.

Maurvi's POV

It has been three days since his birthday and he was behaving very nicely. My heart was falling very badly for him.

Prachi was sure now that we are really having an affair. Which means that she believed me that I had no feelings for Naman. She started talking about him but I told her that I don't want to talk about him. I hate that man. She is looking a bit troubled. I went to my computer center like always but did not talk to him. Every time I used to go to computer center I got more angry on him. Prachi seemed to talk less with him now.

One day she called up and said, " My cousins are here and we are planning to go to see movie. Would you come.?"

I said, " Yes I would. "

I reached there and when we were buying tickets, I saw Naman with Six other guys with him.

He came towards us and said ," Oh so you have come to watch movie ? "

I was annoyed to see him but I didn't say anything as otherwise Prachi would have felt bad.

" Yes, what about you? " Prachi asked.

" Ya we wanted to watch this movie but the problem is we don't have money. " Wow seven men came to a cinema hall but they don't have a single rupee in their pockets. Why were they here then? To see the posters of the movie?

Prachi asked me ," Maurvi do you have money? "

"No "

" Please yaar, don't be so difficult. I know you have it. Please give it to me. "

" Listen I am not going to pay a single rupee for them. I have money for my ticket and snacks. "

" Ok, give money for my ticket, can you do that? "

She brought tickets for everyone and asked everyone what would they like to have for snacks.

She was doing it for him. I looked at him he was smirking at me.

I got so annoyed at him as he was having fun at her expense that I came back from there. I was almost frustrated with the fact that he was taking advantage of her.

I parked my car in my driveway when Gautam came out.

" What happened? You had gone for movie with Prachi? Why are you back so soon? Are you not well? "

" I don't want to talk about her or this whole thing. I am so angry. I am not going to talk to her. " I was almost in tears.

" At least tell me what happened?"

" No please, let's not talk about it. I am frustrated with her. I just want to go and sleep."

" Wait, I will let you go but you tell me what happened? You are almost in tears for god's sake. Please tell me Maurvi. "

" It seems that she has gone mad. I have heard that love is blind but she had become deaf and dumb as well. Their behaviour is irritating me so much that I came back."

" Ok, now tell me exactly what they did? Maurvi, I can help you and her but only if I know everything please tell me. I want to understand the whole situation then only I will be able to come out with a good solution. "
